Major Projects Update - April 2025

Road Safety Funding Secured 

We're excited to announce that $4m worth of Federal Blackspot Funding has been allocated to local roads in Greater Dandenong (McCrae Street, Clow Street, Gladstone Road).

Capital Program Update

Five major projects are underway across Greater Dandenong. These include:

1. Dandenong Wellbeing Centre (DWC) - Construction likely to commence first week of May 2025.
2. Keysborough South Community Hub (KSCH) - The facility expected to open September 2025.
3. Dandenong Community Hub (DCH) – Currently in the concept design phase.  Further community workshops scheduled for May 2025.
4. Dandenong New Art (DNA) – Currently in the procurement phase. Construction expected to be completed 2026/2027.
5. Precinct Energy Plant (PEP) - Building permit for the demolition received. Demolition expected to be completed by August 2025.
