ERP Market Scan Project Gains Momentum
The ERP Business Case Development initiative has officially launched, marking a major milestone in our digital transformation journey.
This initiative follows the completion of nineteen highly engaged workshops across the organisation, where teams brought energy, insight and a shared commitment to improving how we work.
As part of the business case development, The Market Scan is now in full swing. Its purpose is to explore the ERP landscape and identify solutions that align with our business requirements, operational needs and long-term strategic goals.
This phase is critical to ensuring we select a platform that not only meets today’s demands but also supports our future growth.
To steer this work, we’ve established a Project Control Group (PCG). This group is tasked with evaluating options and alternatives, ensuring a balanced and transparent approach to decision-making.
The PCG is working closely with the consultants we have engaged, who are on track to deliver the Business Requirements and Gap Analysis over the coming two months, and will help shape the Business Case.
Meanwhile, DTS continues to host weekly ERP huddles, focusing on tool rationalisation, cost vs functionality analysis and spotlighting key benefits.
Staff communications are rolling out via The Source, and we’re reconnecting with workshop champions to highlight pain points and opportunities—including those in non-core systems.
This is a pivotal moment for our organisation. The ERP Market Scan is not just about technology—it’s about building a smarter, more connected future.
